Traditional Bedouin meals and drinks
We serve freshly prepared Bedouin food throughout your stay, from breakfast to dinner. Our cook, Mr Shaba, prepares the meals with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, creating a warm and welcoming camp dining experience.
Drinks
Bedouin tea and bottled water are included with meals and available throughout your stay.
Coffee and soft drinks are available to buy at the camp.
Breakfast
Breakfast varies with seasonal and local availability and may include bread, za’atar, eggs, labneh, hummus, chicken mortadella, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, cheese and jam.
Lunch
Lunch usually includes a freshly prepared hot dish such as galayah bandura with bread, accompanied by sides that may include hummus, cheese, tuna or fried potatoes with eggs.
Dinner
Dinner features freshly prepared Bedouin and Jordanian dishes such as zarb, maqluba, kabsa or mandi, served with bread, rice, hummus, salads and vegetables. Dessert is usually sweets or fruit.
Vegetarian, allergy and gluten-free requests
Vegetarian and other dietary options are available. Tell us about allergies, gluten-free needs or other restrictions before arrival so the team can plan your meals appropriately.
